Mystic Water Kava Bar and Yoga Studio is a self-proclaimed “alternative” to Ithaca’s usual nightlife. Rather than the pandemonium of the typical bar and club scene, those who visit Mystic Water partake in the tranquil but social culture of Kava tea.
Cornell University premiered its online athletics channel on the new Ivy League Digital Network at the Cornell v. Bucknell homecoming football game on Saturday, Sept. 21 in the hopes of attracting a larger fan base.
“Birdie, it’s time to come home,” Brooke Hansen, associate professor and chair of the anthropology department, said to Huron Clan, Cayuga Nation Mother Birdie Hill in 2005.
Ithaca’s large LGBTQ community does have a downside, and it’s not a problem that people traditionally associate with minority groups: there are so many resources but no centralized way to access them.
