Although students will soon be paying more than $50,000 for attendance, several of their professors will continue to struggle financially to get by. In fact, an average class of students pays nearly $60,000 for a semester-long course, while their part-time professor gets paid only $3,900 to teach it — $1,300 per credit hour.
