Hi everyone, it’s Zoe M. Bee here, your favorite pre-apocalyptic influencer, and I’m here to make sure you’re ready for the upcoming apocalypse. Today, I’m heading to the apocalyptic trading post, and you all can get ready with me as I show you some of my favorite must-have items for the next zombie apocalypse!
- Step #1:
First, we’ll need a shirt! A lot of people might call it basic, but I call it an essential. The Lululemon Rainbow tank top is super easy to style and because it has so many colors, it basically goes with everything. Plus, rainbow is the new camouflage, obviously. Also, if you’re running and ravaging for food, it’s a great workout shirt and dries quickly. You can pair it with your favorite Lululemon sports bra or you could also, which is my personal favorite, #freethenips.
- Step #2:
Next up is pants. I have been absolutely obsessed with low-rise baggy jeans lately. The only issue is sometimes they’re a bit long and easy to trip over, but just a quick DIY will fix that right up. Plus, lots of pockets make it easy to store items you might need for survival, like a cutesy pink pocket knife or the Cheez-It taco from Taco Bell. Or my personal favorite, a ring that turns into a razor blade! Plus, jeans can be fashioned into a rope anytime you need, so it’s basically a 2 in 1 item! They’ll basically feel weightless around your waist, but you’ll have to pair them with a very specific type of shoe for the complete fit.
- Step #3:
This leads us to picking out our shoes for the day. I couldn’t think of a better shoe than the Golden Goose Sneakers. They’re sneakers, so they’re obviously a great running shoe, and since they’re already distressed, no need to worry about getting them dirty. Or, if you really want to be ready for anything, the Classic Dr. Martens might be the way to go. The taller boots are great storage for your sword that can be filled with Vodka for on-the-go sips.
- Step #4:
Our next step is putting on a jacket. Any jacket is always a must-have because you never know when you’ll have to rip the sleeves and tie it around your arm or leg to stop the excessive bleeding. My favorite styling piece is a crop denim jacket either from American Eagle or Forever 21. Lots of pockets for even more storage for your favorite Swiss Army Knife and grappling hook! Plus, if your jacket gets ripped, the distressed look is even more in.
- Step #5:
We’re almost all set to go, but we can’t forget a cutesy tote bag for a bit more storage. Plus, you have to have extra space for stuff you find on corpses that you can steal. My personal favorite tote has these tiny little guns embroidered into it, and it’s very fitting for the trading post I’m going to today. Plus, you’ll need to keep some essentials in here, like a few reusable straws or some ashwagandha gummies during such a stressful time.
- Step #6:
The last thing we’ll need are some final accessories. My favorite necklace is my gold paperclip necklace which could also come in handy as a weapon if I break apart the pieces and sharpen the tip of it. I also have to make sure I put on my Claddagh ring to make sure the zombies know if I’m single or taken. It’s so hard to find love in this day and age. Oh my God, I almost forgot my assault vest, my favorite part of any outfit!
Stay tuned for next week when I’ll be hosting a live get-ready-with-me for the Zombie Apocalyptic Comic-Con Convention!
