Entertainment Scandal Strikes at the 65th Annual Emmy Awards
Once again, The Emmy Awards makes history as 30 million viewers worldwide shed tears and yanked their hair out when surprise struck at the Nokia Theatre.
Once the Red Carpet coverage began, the dress choices included some head scratchers, while others left me star struck. Some sexy women took the carpet, while others must have woke up from a bad dream about ten minutes before the Emmys. Here is my compilation of the best and worst dressed celebrities at this year’s Emmy Awards.
BEST DRESSED:
Although the gorgeous Sofia Vergara of Modern Family left without any Emmy awards, she was able to leave many in awe of this mermaid-shaped Vera Wang dress of red lace. She chose a dress that accented her hourglass body. Her $7 million Lorraine Schwartz Emerald jewelry went well with her outfit. At age 41 she remains as stunning as ever!
30 Rock actress Tina Fey stuns in a tight blue Narciso Rodriguez dress. It was an excellent way for this comedian to show off her sexy side.
Rocsi Diaz, host of BET, definitely had me captivated as she rocked the cobalt blue, strapless Michael Costello mermaid gown. Her beautiful ensembles helped her achieve the “midnight” look. Not to mention, she is Honduran like me: I couldn’t be more proud!
E! News’ Giuliana Rancic shows off her womanly strength and beauty in a Mikael D dress and Louboutins. As busy as she was interviewing many more on the red carpet, she managed to remain flawless throughout the night!
Taylor Schilling was “The Lucky One” on the red carpet when she dazzled in a white Thakoon gown and gold Stuart Weitzman heels . Her golden-blonde locks brought out her fair complexion and gave her an elegant style, wearing all white and gold. Clean and beautiful!
WORST DRESSED:
Sarah Silverman is very budget-friendly considering this black silk dress only cost her $60 online. She was definitely not ashamed to tell Ryan Seacrest, but I think she could have pulled of a better combination with the dress. A red lip look would have blended better… and maybe replace the black heels with red heels for some more flair?
Julianna Hough walked the red carpet in a sea-foam green Jenny Packham dress that revealed her legs, as well as her failing attempt to look elegant for her ex-beau, Ryan Seacrest. Although I do love her nice bob haircut and neutral make-up, I am not sure what she was thinking with the dress in the first place.
