Always trying to expand,
Stretching minds, spread wide like a roll of wrapping paper unraveling
Unraveling wildly,
Letting loose, freely, without boundaries
Just some shiny metal zippers on a shiny metal plane,
Each different and individual
Like a fingerprint or a snowflake
Or the words you choose during a fight
Where are they going?
Who am I? Who are you?
What is wrong? Is that true?
Question everything because nothing is right
How do you know what you know?
Words you take as gospel
Is it just information fed to you?
As easy as it is to feed a hungry child
Performing tests on subjects
Testing boundaries and pushing limits
Like a rebel thinker in all his glory
Forcing himself so far outside the box,
He becomes lost in his thoughts.
Targeting orphans and students,
All who are lonely.
Are you just lonely yourself?
Trying to control other’s minds
With the power you granted yourself
But do you control your own?
You’re not a creator
So what makes you an ender?
You’re not someone’s God, where did you get that idea?
Playing all-powerful eats at the soul,
Like Frankenstein and his monster.
Slowly dehumanizing yet repetitive behavior
Don’t you ever learn?
Mental instability, does that make you crazy?
Angry, frustrated elephants on LSD
Thoughts manifesting like an overgrown plant on steroids.
Intertwining and wrapping around his brain,
You’re killing him slowly.
There’s a little evil in all of us.
Voice inside your head,
Schizophrenia or your old best friend?
Echoing disagreeing thoughts,
Mismatched
Leaving more questions than answers
I’m not sure that’s very fair.
Starving monkeys
Lonely and confused
Jumping from vine to vine trying to find an explanation
Why?
How can you watch it happen?
Such complex thoughts, how do you find the words?
