My body is too sexy for you. Its beauty determines my value. It conveys my desire for you, my attraction to you.
This is how you view my body. This is what you demand my body to be. Therefore, this is what my body is.
Or is it? Can my body break free from the box into which you have forced it?
My body is assigned. I must fulfill the expectations of its color, its size, its gender.
My body has a history. I must struggle to break away from this history – to transcend the expectations of its color, its size, its gender.
My body is tangible. It is the agent of a real person who thinks and feels. It is not a corporation, and it should have more rights than a corporation – not the same rights as one – to participate in the political process.
